When we find interesting CBD products or brands, we always want to share them with our audience. So when we stumbled across the Rebel Wine website, and when we eventually got the chance to try their products, we knew that we'd have to publish an article about their great offering. We'll be taking a close look at the brand and their products, let's get into it:
Who is Rebel Wine?
We like to start with an overview of the brands we feature as we know readers like to know about the story behind the brand. Luckily there is a great 'Our Story' section on the Rebel Wine website that explains the story.
What we love about the Rebel Wines story is that the brand has been founded by a team that has been involved in the world of wine for many years - Rupert started a wine brand way back in 2005, specialising in South African wine. That brand (Southern Wines) continues to do well, and it's clear that Rupert has a genuine passion for wine. Once Rupert discovered the benefits of CBD for some pain he was experiencing, he had a lightbulb moment - combine quality, delicious wine with the amazing benefits of CBD to create an excellent product.

What are the Rebel Wine products like?
Let's get into the specifics of what makes these products so great. As we mentioned in the introduction, Rebel Wine is a CBD wine brand. Each 200ml can of their quality wine has been infused with organic, water-soluble hemp grown in Colorado. Each can of wine contains 166mg of Hemp, giving 10mg of CBD (6% CBD). The THC is removed from the hemp before the infusion to ensure no fuzzy effects. This is a really nice dosage and a perfect amount to pair with an alcoholic drink, plus it's a very safe amount to include, and even if you have a few cans (which, let's face it, you probably will) you'll still be well within your safe daily limit of CBD (FSA recommends around 70mg per day). If you've never tried alcohol with CBD before then we highly recommend you give it a shot. Rebel Wine is the first UK brand to combine CBD and wine, and we definitely think they're on to a winner.
We tried 5 cans of wine from Rebel Wine and enjoyed every single one. The hemp taste is barely there and doesn't interfere with the taste of the wine at all, which was a pleasant surprise. Each product page on the Rebel Wine gives pairing tips that are well worth a look, otherwise, just crack a can open and enjoy!
Also, it was great to see the lower-calorie options from Rebel Wine. These still tasted great and were probably our favourites from the entire range (and we'll be getting some more).
